Frolesworth Road Cemetery Works Update

The Parish Council would like to apologise for the upset and distress caused by the recent misunderstanding at the Cemetery.

The Parish Council received a grant specifically to extend the Cemetery and the purpose of setting out the markers was to provide evidence as part of the grant conditions.

As this evidence has now been provided, the markers have been removed as it was never the intention to leave the plots marked.

We appreciate that we should have better communicated this information and will ensure going forward that details of any future works planned at the Cemetery are published to allow for queries to be addressed.
