Twinning
Geveze
Broughton Astley has a long association with the French town of Geveze.
The original Twinning Charter was signed by officials from both communities in 1995, so 2005 saw the 10th Anniversary of our bond of friendship with the people of Geveze.
Twinning visits involve a weekend of sightseeing, eating, drinking and renewing old friendships. Both Broughton Astley and Geveze have football teams which play home and away fixtures.
The original BATON Twinning Association disbanded in 2023.
